SIFE Berea is growing global leaders, creating local solutions.
Founded in 2006, SIFE Berea is young but has become one of the largest and most active clubs on campus. We have implemented many projects that allow members to dedicate themselves to their interests which contribute to local communities’ financial, social, and environmental well-being.
The skills gained in SIFE Berea programs afford today’s members the ability to expand their potential to produce international change and develop responsible and ethically aware leaders tomorrow, ready to sustain our success into the future.
We have brought together students from 15 different states and over 40 different countries to create solutions locally in an Eastern Kentucky town of 10,000 people and globally in more than 20 countries, including China, Haiti, and Uganda .
We are producing a class of truly international business leaders for the future:1 in 10 of Berea’s 1,514 students are SIFE members and 70% of these are fluent speakers of more than one language.
