The Learning Center's Guide to Faculty Performance Review
Performance Review Preparation is available for faculty approaching probationary, tenure, and promotion reviews. Each semester, faculty members who are preparing for performance reviews can meet together to discuss portfolio preparation and other relevant issues, under the guidance of Learning Center Associates. Sample portfolios donated by Berea faculty members are available. In addition to these group meetings, Associates are available for individual consultations on a variety of topics including:
- Analysis of Instructor Evaluation Questionnaires (IEQs)
- Classroom observations: Learning Center Associates will attend classes and share their impressions.
- A Faculty Development Calendar serves as a general guide and brainstorming tool for faculty during their first eight years at Berea
