The Learning Center's Resources for Interviews, Resumes and Cover Letters

One of the benefits to coming to the Learning Center is the availability of consultants in helping you with many job success measures. In partnership with Career Services, consultants at the Learning Center are able to assist you with many things. From writing your resume to the accompanying cover letter, or further down the line to the interview, we can help you in prepare for success!

When you come to the Learning Center Seeking assistance with any for any or all of those things, be prepared to invest some time and bring a few things along. For resumes, it is a good idea to have thought of your job history and any experiences that might be applicable. For anything concerning the job search process, it’s a good idea to have in mind where you might want to go with your career. For many, it is not vital to know this so much as to just start thinking about it. However, all of these things will help you in preparation and making the consultation that much more effective.

When you come to a consultation for resume, cover letter or interview help, be prepared to have some things with you. It is best to have whatever version of your resume you have. If you are coming to work on creating a resume, any ideas you might have for it will work. When going to a mock interview, bring with you a version of both your resume and cover letter, and attend in proper interview attire.
