The following are the essential duties for the Computer Manager / Webmaster in the Learning Center:- Overseeing computer use, by staff and clients.
- Removing unnecessary materials from hard drives.
- Keeping computers in good working order, including requesting help from IS&S when necessary.
- Maintaining Learning Center Website.
- Exploring new uses of computers (reviewing new software)
- Reviewing computer policy.
- Educating staff in computer use.
- Basic front desk duties.
- Performing other duties as directed by the Office Manager.

The following are the essential duties for the Historian in the Learning Center:- Keeping a scrapbook of events at the Learning Center.
- Gathering and keeping accurate records of personal information on staff (birthdays, interests, hobbies, CPO, residence hall, extensions)
- Preparing monthly “Happy Birthday” fliers for staff.
- Taking or arranging staff photos (From activities, consultations, presentations, etc.)
- Keeping a copy of articles appearing in newspapers, correspondence praising the Learning Center.
- Working with Office Manager developing ideas for community building at the Learning Center.
- Maintaining alumni list.
- Basic front desk duties.
- Performing other duties as directed by the Office Manager.

The following are the essential duties for the Publicity Coordinator in the Learning Center:- Overseeing production of fliers, brochures and bookmarks.
- Designing or commissioning bulletin boards inside and outside of the Learning Center.
- Maintain the bulletin boards.
- Developing publicity for registration periods and throughout term.
- Stocking handouts, brochures, and bookmarks as needed.
- Organizing bulletin boards.
- Basic front desk duties.
- Performing other duties as directed by the Office Manager.

- Maintaining office equipment including phones, computers, and supplies.
- Answering the phone and taking messages.
- Performing and/ or aiding in staff projects.
- Duplicating, typing and filing as necessary.
- Setting up for Learning Center Luncheons.
- Cleaning up after Learning Center Luncheons.
- Picking up mail at the CPO
- Taking outgoing mail to CPO
- Sorting mail
- Making monthly reports summarizing client visits
- Restocking office supplies
- Making coffee/hospitality duties
- Running errands as necessary.
- Light cleaning duties to maintain a professional and clean atmosphere.
- Ordering from printing services
- Performing other duties as directed by the Office Manager.

- The following are the essential duties for the Office Manager in the Learning Center:
- Training and supervising work of Office Assistants, Public Relations coordinator, Computer Manager and Librarian.
- Building a database on Learning Center use by students and faculty.
- Monitoring office procedures including record-keeping, supplies, client files, materials files; reviewing and suggesting improvements.
- Assessing use of space and quality of physical environment; planning for equipment, materials, and furniture needs.
- Ordering office supplies
- Going to Wal-Mart for additional supplies.
- Monitoring lock-up, open-up, clean-up assignments, keys.
- Previewing time logs; computing hours; monitoring work time entries.
- Completing payroll in a timely manner.
- Attending and sometimes overseeing weekly staff meetings.
- Bulletin Boards.
- Keeping the front desk calendar up to date.
- Keeping track of who has missed work and making sure staff are rescheduling and finding people to work for them.
- Weekly staff announcements.
