Special Collections & Archives Instruction ProgramSpecial Collections & Archives offers a variety of special instruction sessions applicable to numerous disciplines and fields of inquiry. Our basic program (which dovetails the general Library Instruction Program) includes two instruction sessions designed for the GSTR 210 course on the identification, analysis, and use of primary sources and how to find and use Special Collections & Archives materials at Berea. Additionally, SC&A works collaboratively with faculty across campus to develop inquiry-based learning activities that foster student cognitive development and critical thinking skills, as well as support specific experiential assignments which guide students through the process of learning and developing enhanced research or discipline-specific skills. |
