Peanut Butter & Gender: Rev. angel Kyodo williams
(Educational Opportunity)

"It's Not about Love after All"

Now one of only three black women Zen "Senseis" or teachers, Rev. angel Kyodo williams is a leading voice for Transformative Social Change. Both fierce and grounded, she is known for her willingness to both sit with and speak uncomfortable truths. She notes, "Love and Justice are not two. Without inner change, there can be no outer change. Without collective change, no change matters."

Free and open to the public, this event is co-sponsored with the Asian Studies program and the bell hooks institute. Lunch is served beginning at 11:45.
