"Uprooting the Legacy of Violence against Indigenous Women: The Save Wiyabi Project"

Lauren Chief Elk is a Native American feminist educator and co-founder of the Save Wiyabi Project, which focuses on serving Native American women who have experienced sexual violence. Lauren was also an originator of the #GiveYourMoneyToWomen campaign to encourage men on Twitter to directly give money to women as a way of balancing gender-based income inequality and acknowledging women's unpaid labor.

This event is free and open to the public. Lunch is served at 11:45, with the program following at 12.
