I'm pleased to officially introduce Ms. Megan Miracle, Berea's PartnerCorps Member.

As part of the PartnerCorps, Megan will be part of the Forty individuals that are recruited and placed as AmeriCorps members in the two high schools. Members commit to serve for one year in Knox or Leslie counties at the high school and focus on improving educational outcomes, serving as mentors, college advisors, and family connectors. Each day, they arrive at school with the first students and remain at school until the last student leaves. They strive to create college-going cultures in their high schools. AmeriCorps members who complete their service in the program will qualify for a Segal AmeriCorps Education Award.

Megan came to Berea College from Bell County School District as a substitute teacher.
In 2015, Megan received a BS in Elementary Education from EKU.

In Megan's free time, she enjoys going to church, and being outdoors.
