Summer Internships in Rural Japan
(Asian Studies Program)

Every summer, Berea College chooses a select few students to intern at the Kiyosato Educational Experiment Project (KEEP), a non-profit organization located in Madison County, Kentucky's sister region of Hokuto City, Yamanashi Prefecture, Japan. Myles Crain '20 and Nicole Mangin '19 served as interns during the summer of 2019 and will share their experiences of working and learning in beautiful rural Japan. Co-sponsored by the Asian Studies Department and the Office of Internships & Career Development. Free and open to the public!
