Residue of a Lived Experience
(Art & Art History Program)

Ryan Schroeder is an artist who paints scenes reflecting on reality. Through paint, Schroeder explores space as a phenomenological experience in that the subject matter is assembled through firsthand exploration. The main focus of his work is finding a means to visually transmit the dominant psychological feeling of a person or place.

This exhibition will end with an artist talk from the artist on February 15th at 12:00pm in order for Schroeder to discuss his work and his methods. The artist talk will be followed by a small reception with snacks and refreshments.
