Article
I
Quorum and Rules of Order
Each
meeting must have a quorum of 1/5 or 20% of dues-paying members.
Each meeting must consist of the following roles of order:
- Call to order by President or Secretary
- Attendance will be taken by the Secretary
- Approval of minutes by vote of majority
- Reports by each officer
- Consideration of President's/Secretary's Agenda
- Consideration of any other business
- Motion to adjourn will be made by the President/Secretary
Article
II
Officer Terms and Duties
Elections
of new officers will take place at the end of the academic year.
The officer election procedure can be found in Article III of the
constitution. Each of the officers has specific duties. The President
convenes the meetings, calls special meetings and assumes overall
regulation of business. The Secretary performs the President’s
duties in the absence of the President, assists the President in
his/her duties and also has the duty of keeping records. The Treasurer
accounts for the organization’s finances. All officers share
responsibility for the organization's public relations.

III
Terms of Membership
Members
have the responsibility to attend meetings, and duty to pay dues.
Resignation is enacted when members give notice to the Advisor
and Secretary.
Article IV
Ratifying By-laws
Ratification
and amendment of these By-laws shall be effected by an affirmative
vote by the majority of BSA members present at a meeting which
meets the quorum requirement defined under Article I.
