Appalachian Heritage welcomes submissions all year long. Feel free to send art and writing at your convenience. Realistically, our publication schedule is subject to all kinds of exigencies, and we are sometimes early and often late. Nevertheless we do attempt to make both the art and the writing mostly compatible with the seasons, so you may wish to consider that when you time your submissions.
