2004 Denny Plattner Awards
Kenneth and Elissa May Plattner established the Denny C. Plattner Awards in 1995 to honor their late son, Denny, and his love for writing. First place winners each receive $200.00, and all winners in each category receive a bookrack from Berea College Crafts with a personalized plaque commemorating their achievement. This year Andrew Plattner, brother of the late Denny C. Plattner, judged the award. Thanks to the Plattner family and congratulations to those honored.
