Thursday, July 17– Sunday, July 20– West Virginia University will host the ninth annual West Virginia Writers’ Workshop. It is an intensive, four-day writers’ conference featuring workshops, panel discussions, public readings, and lectures. This year’s award winning faculty includes Mark Brazaitis, Nick Carbo, Denise Duhamel, James Harms, Brian Henry, and Sheri Reynolds, among others.
Monday, July 7-Thursday, July 24—The tenth annual Knoxville Writers’ Guild Summer Workshops will be held at Pellissippi State Technical and Community College. There, thirteen regionally and nationally known writers will teach evening classes. Learn a new skill, sharpen one you already have, or meet with like-minded people to discuss tips, tricks, and triumphs in writing.
