Saturday, December 1—Getting Published: Changing The Odds with Renni Browne.
Workshop topics include: finding an agent; the query letter; dazzling dialogue; self-editing tips; resources for writers on and offline; self-publishing; and much more. Brown is co-author of Self-Editing for Fiction Writers, former senior editor for William Morrow, and founder of The Editorial Department. Five pages of work (double-spaced) will be critiqued by Brown, if emailed to prez@twwoa.org by November 25. Saturday, 10-4 pm. $90/$85 members. Saturday, December 1—The Writer's Way with Veronica Fisher. This class is primarily for people who are experiencing major life transitions and want to unleash their creativity through writing. In-class writing exercises and discussion will be led by Fisher, a journaling instructor and psychotherapist for 25 years. Meets Saturday, 12:30-5:30 pm. $75/ $70 for Workshop members.
