Saturday, September 15—The 14th Annual Fall Writers Seminar, hosted by the Council for the Written Word, will be held just outside Nashville, Tennessee.  The all-day event will be hosted by New York Times Best Selling Author Sharyn McCrumb.  The cost is $55, including lunch, and group rates are available.  Register here.

Saturday, September 22—The Appalachian Heritage Alliance will be holding their Appalachian Circuit Writers Project at the Lee County Library in Kentucky. Leatha Kendrick will be the workshop leader.
