Friday, May 11, 5:00 p.m.—Clay County Reading Celebration. This event, which celebrates families reading together, draws over 3,000 people each year. This year’s theme is KENTUCKY AT ITS BEST, and there is an impressive line-up of authors participating, including George Ella Lyon, Paul Brett Johnson and Anne Shelby. The Authors’ Row presents authors, publishers, and book artists who would like the opportunity to sign and sell their books and to be a part of an event that promotes the literary arts. Each author will have his/her own table with a poster of their name and books listed, plus you’ll get a Reading Celebration tee-shirt, a wonderful supper and all the free popcorn you can eat! If you’d like more information, e-mail Judy Sizemore at circuit@prtcnet.org
