Sunday, July 31-Friday, August 5—The 28th Annual Appalachian Writers’ Workshop will be held at Hindman Settlement School in Hindman, Kentucky. This year’s staff includes Silas House, Leatha Kendrick, Joyce Dyer, Rita Quillen, Meredith Sue Willis, David Dick, Marie Bradby, Lee Maynard, and Jack Higgs. Evening sessions are free and open to the public.
