Tuesday, April 8Mary Lee Settle will have a reading/autograph session/ reception in the Turley Ballroom at Fairmont State College at 7 p.m. The event is free of charge and open to the public.

Saturday, April 12The Carl Sandburg Home Poetry Celebration will take place at the Sandburg Home National Historic Site in Flat Rock, N.C. This event is free and open to the public. For more information, call 828-693-4178.

Monday, April 14The Writers In the Library concludes its 2002-2003 with Telling It From Tennessee, featuring journalist and non-fiction writer John Egerton and short story writer and poet Brian Griffin. The reading is free and open to the public and will be held at 7 pm in the University of Tennessee Hodges Library Auditorium. A question and answer session and book signing will follow, ending the evening will a reception.
