Thursday, February 8th—A display of Appalachian Heritage will be set up in the Coffee Commons of the Wyndham Robertson Library at Hollins University from 10:00 until 3:30. At 4:30 in the Hollins Room of the Wyndham Robertson Library, George Brosi will give a talk, "How One Literary Magazine Really Works" followed by questions and attempted answers.

Friday, February 16th—Second Featured Author and Artist Event, Berea College, Berea, Kentucky.

Friday, March 23-Sunday, March 25, 2007—The Appalachian Studies Association will celebrate its 30th anniversary during the 2007 conference, entitled “Piecing the Appalachian Experience.” The event, featuring “special retrospective sessions,” will be held at Maryville College in Maryville, TN.

Friday, March 30-Saturday, March 31—The 2007 Tennessee Mountain Writers Conference will be held at the Double Tree Hotel in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Scheduled events include Appalachian Heritage editor George Brosi presenting a workshop on Publishing at 9:00 a.m. on Friday and Nikki Giovanni giving the banquet address at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday.

Saturday, March 31—The Blue Ridge Writers Conference will be held at North Georgia Technical College in Blairsville, Georgia.  Presenters will include Terry Kay and Appalachian Heritage editor, George Brosi.

Wednesday, April 11 – Thursday April 12—Appalachian Heritage will be presenting at the Second Annual Book Fair and Authors’ Teach-in at Pellissippi State Technical Community College in Knoxville, Tennessee. George Brosi will give a workshop on writing book reviews from 9-11:30 a.m. on Wednesday and a talk at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday entitled "The Literary Magazine: A Launchpad for a Literary Career.” There will also be a table featuring the magazines from this year.

April 16th—Wintrop College, Rock Hill, South Carolina - Details will follow

April 17th—University of South Carolina, Upstate, Spartanburg, South Carolina - George Brosi will give a talk at 9:25 on "Appalachian Nature Poets."
