Berea City-West Buildings:

City of Berea Memorial Park, Broadway North and Jefferson Streets.

This route makes an easy short driving tour and good sidewalks make a longer self-guided walking tour accessible through Berea's "Old Town." Across the I-75 overpass (Exist 76) lies State Highway 21 and Opossum Kingdom Rd. ("Pleasant Union" neighborhood). Not recommended to tour. No historic buildings remain from the 1800s and the Diggs Family Cemetery of black settlers is not visible from the roads.

This route makes an easy short driving tour. For a longer walking route from Boone Tavern, use the sidewalks on the Estill Street side of the College's Log House Craft Gallery at the intersection of Estill and Center Streets. In the Berea Cemetery, self-guided tours are available during daylight hours. Berea City-North Buildings: Glades Christian Church (1820s; 1866-69), 230 Glades Rd. Other: Clay-Fee Monument (1853; 1933), in Clay Fee Homes, Morgan St. off Glades Rd. Rash Rd. White Family Cemetery, 176 Glades Rd. This route makes an easy short driving tour. No sidewalks available.
